Fall traditions
We are already into fall, also commonly referred to as autumn. I want to talk about some of the fall traditions in the USA.

 In Japan, there is a big emphasis on fall cuisine. I know that sweet potatoes, chestnuts, persimmons, and so on are quite the craze come this time of year. In the US, however, the most popular food eaten in fall would be the Thanksgiving turkey. Other than Thanksgiving turkey, pumpkin pie also comes to mind as a very popular dish in fall. 

 Another essential part of fall for the majority of Americans, myself included, is the start of American football season. American football is by far the most popular sport in the US with millions of viewers tuning in every week to watch. Many Americans look forward to watching the football games on Thanksgiving after getting stuffed with all that turkey and pumpkin pie.

早くも秋🍂♪オータムとも呼ばれる季節になりました。今回は、アメリカの秋の風物詩についてお話ししたいと思います。
 日本では、秋と言えば料理と言ったイメージが強く、この時期になると、サツマイモや栗、柿一色になりますよね☺しかし、アメリカでは、秋に食べられる最も人気な食べ物は、サンクスギビングのターキー（七面鳥）🐔。サンクスギビング・ターキーのほかには、パンプキン・パイも秋の人気料理です。
 もうひとつ、私も含めて大多数のアメリカ人にとって秋に欠かせないのは、アメリカンフットボールです。アメリカンフットボールはアメリカで最も人気のあるスポーツであり、毎週何百万人もの視聴者が観戦に訪れます。多くのアメリカ人は、ターキーとパンプキンパイでお腹がいっぱいになった後に、フットボールの試合を見るのをとても楽しみにしているんですよ～⚽♡

Who wouldn't want to capture some moments? Moments that can take you back to the past. Captured moments are more valuable than some treasures. Regardless of whether you’re a professional photographer or a normal person, the important thing is that you capture scenes for you to remember when you are older.

I’m not a professional. I take pictures for fun. It's a hobby. Capturing important moments in life seems like I'm collecting treasures. I want to capture the places I've been to, and take pictures of the people I'm with in those happy moments. Those beautiful smiles are priceless. I also like to capture things that I find interesting such as skyscrapers, nature, and animals.

It doesn’t matter what you use to take these pictures. (I take pictures with my phone.) The important thing is that you enjoy what you’re doing. Capture every

写真を撮るのに何を使っても構いません。(私は携帯電話で撮っています）大切なのは、自分が楽しんでいるかどうかです。撮りたいと思った瞬間を逃さず、すべてを大切にしてください✨♪

Camille-Living in Japan for three years

   なんと 10月17日が最後のレッスンです😢 

長らく会えていない家族に

Living in Japan for three years



Après trois ans au Japon, je vais rentrer en France à la fin de 2021.

Je suis arrivée au Japon en août 2018, parce que j'avais étudié le japonais à l'université et je voulais découvrir la culture sur place, voyager et améliorer mes compétences dans la langue japonaise.
J'ai beaucoup voyagé les premiers mois, je suis allée à Tokyo, dans le Kansai, à Hokkaido et à Kyushu. J'ai appris beaucoup de choses sur le mode de vie au Japon et sur ces régions très différentes les unes des autres.

Mon visa n'était valide que pour une année, donc j'ai cherché un travail à partir du mois de mars car je voulais rester un peu plus longtemps pour continuer à découvrir le pays.
J'ai commencé à travailler à Nova en Juin 2019, et après deux ans, je pense que les étudiants m'ont tout autant appris sur le Japon que je leur ai appris sur la France.
Malheureusement, l'arrivée du Covid a mis un terme à mes envies de voyages, et la routine s'est installée. Mais j'ai pu continuer à profiter du Japon par d'autres moyens, notamment des promenades dans le parc du Château d'Osaka à côté de chez moi où en essayant de cuisiner des plats traditionnels japonais.
Maintenant j'ai decidé de rentrer car ma famille me manque et je ne peux pas aller les voir en vacances à cause de la quarantaine au retour au Japon. Je reviendrai pour découvrir le reste du Japon un jour, car j'ai encore beaucoup de choses à voir !

Voici une photo d'un de mes meilleurs souvenirs, en novembre 2019, quand j'ai fait la randonnée entre le Kibune-jinja et le Kurama-dera à Kyoto durant la période des érables rouges. C'était magnifique! Je pense que la période des érables est la meilleure saison de l'année.

日本での3年間の生活を終え、2021年末にフランスに戻ります。

私が2018年8月に日本に来たのは、大学で日本語や日本の文化についての勉強、旅行をしたいと思ったからです。最初の数ヶ月はたくさん旅行しました。東京、関西、北海道、九州に行きました。日本の生活様式は、地域より大きく異なる事を学びました。

私のビザは1年間しか有効ではなかったのですが、もう少し滞在してこの国を知りたい！と思い、3月から仕事を探し始めました。2019年6月からノバで働き始めましたが、2年経ってみると、私がフランスのことを教えたのと同じくらい、学生たちは私に日本のことを教えてくれたと思います。✨
残念ながらコロナで、私の旅計画は終止符を打たざるを得なくなり、日常生活が落ち着いたものとなりました。しかし、家の隣にある大阪城公園を散歩したり、日本の伝統的な料理を作ってみたりと、他の方法で日本を楽しみ続けることができました。
日本での隔離期間があるので休日に家族に会いに行くこともできないなどの理由もあり帰国することにしました。まだまだ見たいものがたくさんあるので、いつか日本に戻ってきて、まだ見ていない日本を見にきます🚩♪

最後に、私の最高の思い出の一つをシェアします。
2019年11月、紅葉の季節に京都の貴船神社と鞍馬寺の間をハイキングしたときの写真です。綺麗でしたねー。もみじの季節は1年の中で一番いい季節だと思います❤🍂

IL MODELLISMO

Una delle mie passioni è il modellismo. Sapete di che si tratta? Nel mio caso, significa guastarsi la vista fissando lo sguardo su un soldatino per dipingerne i dettagli più minuti. Scherzi a parte, esso consiste nell'assemblare e dipingere con cura piccoli modelli in plastica. Ciò che dipingo sono principalmente personaggi folkloristici: elfi, nani, orchi e tanti altri!

Il modellismo è un passatempo ideale per chi, come me, ama le attività tranquille, ma anche complesse e che richiedono concetrazione e minuziosità. Non sarebbe un'esagerazione se dicessi che ha su di me un effetto quasi terapeutico: mentre, seduto al tavolo di lavoro, mi diletto con gli strumenti del mestiere, mi pare quasi che tutti i miei problemi spariscano, e che il tempo si fermi.

E voi, amici? Avete qualche passatempo 'terapeutico'?

私の趣味はモデリング（模型作成）です。私の場合は、詳細を描くために、おもちゃの兵隊をじっと見て目を悪くしてしまうんですけどね。。。笑
冗談はさておき、モデリング（模型作成）とは小さなプラスチックモデルを丁寧に組み立て、塗装していく作業です。私が描くのは主に、エルフ、ドワーフ、オークなどの民衆的なキャラクターです。
モデリングは、私のように、静かでありながら、集中力と細かい作業を必要とする複雑な活動が好きな人には理想的な娯楽です。机に向かって仕事道具をいじっていると、悩みが消えて時間が止まるような気がして、治療効果があるといっても過言ではありません。

OtakuFest in Cebu



Otakufest is the biggest cosplay and hobby convention in Cebu. Otakufest is derived from the Japanese word otaku, which is used to describe anime and video game fans. Thousands of cosplayers and anime lovers gather to show off their unique costumes and meet other people.
 Two years ago, I had the opportunity to join the Otakufest. It was held in the grounds of the Ayala Center, Cebu. As I strolled around the area, I took photos of the cosplayers which I found interesting, and I was able to take pictures with them as well. Later on, I went to some shops where you can buy Japanese things such as anime merchandise, figurines, and traditional masks. 
 I surely had a wonderful time at the festival and met people who love anime as much as I do. If you are an anime lover, an Otaku, or a cosplayer, Otakufest is the best place for you to feel like you are in a virtual world.

オタクフェスは、セブ島で最大のコスプレと趣味の大会、お祭りです。オタクフェスは、アニメやビデオゲームのファンを表す日本語の「オタク」という言葉に由来しています。何千人ものコスプレイヤーやアニメ愛好家が集まり、ユニークなコスチュームを披露したり、他の人々と知り合うことができます。

2年前、私はオタクフェスに参加する機会がありました。セブ島のアヤラセンターの敷地内で開催されました。私は周辺を散策しながら、面白いと思ったコスプレイヤーたちの写真を撮りました。その後、アニメグッズやフィギュア、伝統的なお面など、日本のものが買えるお店にも行ってみました。

このフェスティバルでは、私と同じようにアニメが好きな人たちと出会い、とても楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。もしあなたがアニメ好き、オタク、コスプレイヤーであれば、オタクフェスは仮想世界にいるような気分を味わえる最高の場所だと思います。
