Susana-Ir de Compras(Shopping)

Me gusta mucho ir de compras. Especialmente me gusta comprar ropa.

I like going shopping a lot. I especially like to buy clothes. The color I like most for clothes is black. Sometimes I also buy dark green clothes. But I don't like flashy colors like orange or yellow. I prefer discreet colors. I don't normally
buy clothes in department stores because they are a bit expensive, I prefer cheaper clothes stores.

Lately, I haven't bought clothes because I want to save money, and besides, I already have too many clothes. But it's difficult because I really like clothes. I'm going to try not to buy clothes and save some money for a trip when the pandemic ends. What do you want to do when the pandemic ends?

Ara-Summer in the Philippines

While it's still considered spring in some countries around the world, summer is already creeping in over the Philippines. Indeed, one particularly discovers that the Philippines is a tropical country during this warmest of seasons. Temperatures may range from 32 to 36 degrees Celsius, or around 90 to 97 Fahrenheit. The length of summer varies although PAGASA (the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration) defines it as the hot dry season from March to May. During this period, it gets warm early on in the day, with the temperature rising steadily through the afternoon. Humidity may also rise at some times and this makes for a really sweaty season. But summer in the Philippines is not just about the heat. It comes with the refreshing ideas of fun in the sun, as well as food, drinks and activities that cool the mind, body and spirit. Most get to have some measure of summer vacations, after all, and this is what makes the season something to look forward to each year.

If you’re always chasing the sun, sand, and water, there’s no such thing as the perfect season for you to go on a beach trip because it’s always summer somewhere, right? But now that (the real) summer is just around the corner, it’s time to start planning out your beach getaways. But with so many beautiful summer destinations in the Philippines to choose from, where do you even start? Whether you’re into relaxing in a comfortable paradise, or more into off-the-beaten-path discoveries, there’s a perfect place that will fit your liking. With countless beaches to snorkel or dive from, Cebu province has got you covered in all your sea adventure cravings.

A good summer destination in Cebu is Bantayan Island. There’s something on that island that will make you feel like it’s your own little world, your own little space. You will find yourself in a tropical utopia. As you get off the boat, you will be welcomed by fresh air, stunning sandbars, and cerulean blue waters. The island's loud crashing waves are like music to the ears. But just a warning, when the time comes for you to leave, it’ll be hard to say goodbye as the island will already hold a special place in your heart.

Another beautiful summer destination in Cebu is the Kawasan Falls where a thrilling adventure begins! It’s popular because of the canyoneering on site. Your trip to the best summer destinations in the Philippines wouldn’t be complete without booking the best budget hotels in the areas mentioned above.

And speaking of summer vacations, this is the time when Filipinos get together with their family and enjoy eating Filipino food in boodle fight style. Boodle fight was inspired by the military style of eating. This is a kind of feast that is meant for sharing all the food. Food is served and spread on some banana leaves on a long table. Other than banana leaves, you must use your bare hands to eat. Utensils are strictly prohibited as a sign of respect following the old traditional Filipino culture.

Boodle fight doesn't mean it's a food fight. Boodle fight is a friendly type of feasting and not something to get stressed about. Take note that a boodle fight is filled with many delicious dishes, and all of the dishes must be finished. So inviting your friends or family would be a great idea. This means that you won't have to worry about wasting food or having too many leftovers. Boodle fight is not only for the Filipinos, it's for everyone to try this feast, most especially people who are culture-friendly and certified food lovers or what the Internet would call "Foodies".

Andy-Der Beginn des japanischen (Kinder) Fernsehens in Deutschland(The beginning of Japanese (children's) television in Germany)

Who doesn't remember the 1990s? The Berlin Wall fell, the Iron Curtain disappeared, borders often became a thing of the past. A time of bright colors, a time for optimism, which also gripped the German television landscape. More stations, longer airtime and new target groups.

While television in Germany had been broadcasting programs for decades, first using black-and-white devices and then later using color televisions, the television market was heavily regulated until the mid-1980s. There were only so-called public television channels, such as ARD and ZDF, which did not yet provide a 24-hour program. Then, under Chancellor Kohl, the television market was liberalized and private television stations were founded. RTL (plus) and Sat 1 were the first non-state television channels, with many more to follow.

So kam u.a.

This led to a strong demand from the late 1980s to fill vacant slots. More and more TV channels were founded trying to stand out from the rest and establish unique selling points. Two of them were Tele 5 and RTL2. While other stations were looking around on the American television market (Transformers, Spiderman, etc.), Tele 5 and RTL2 looked to Asia, especially Japan, with its colorful and unusual programs. The land of the rising sun was an almost inexhaustible source of inexpensive entertainment, especially for children. Tokkei Winspector came to Germany (unfortunately only) for one year, soccer anime like Kickers and Captain Tsubasa, or for volleyball fans "Mila Superstar" (Attack No. 1). During sports lessons, many tried their hand at the tornado ball, unfortunately unsuccessfully.

Now, in the age of the Internet, anime is a common part of the media world, not only in Germany; but in the times before ADSL and fiber optic connections, before DVDs and BluRays, these channels were the only source of the desire for big googly eyes and youngsters (soccer talents) who, like Superman, seem to have been able to fly through the air for hours.

When did you first see something about Germany on television? Did it inspire you to learn German and live in Germany?

Susana –Conciertos(Concerts)

One of the things I've missed the most since the pandemic started is going to concerts. But not only do I miss seeing my favorite artists singing live in front of my very eyes, but also the whole atmosphere around the concerts. I miss getting up early to catch a train or plane to go to the city of the concert, queuing up to buy merchandise, having a leisurely breakfast later in a nearby coffee shop to rest my feet, seeing friends who have already come from their respective cities – the ones that I can only see when there is a concert. And of course the concert itself: listening to my favorite songs live, singing in unison with thousands of other fans, breathing the same air as my favorite singers. And after the concert, commenting on everything that happened with my friends while we have dinner or share it on social networks so that other fans who have not been able to attend the event can also enjoy it.

Unfortunately, all this has disappeared because of the coronavirus, and these type of mass events will probably take a long time to return to normal. But fortunately, thanks to new technologies, we now have the opportunity to enjoy concerts without an audience through the internet. Although it is not the same as being in a stadium surrounded by other fans singing, shouting, jumping and dancing to the rhythm of the music, it is a good temporary alternative, and a good way to financially support our favorite artists, whom the pandemic is also seriously affecting.

New technologies have also led to an increase in online classes, which allows us to take lessons on different things without having to worry about where we live. I think this time, when we spend so many hours at home due to social distancing, is a good moment to learn new things and improve ourselves. Of course, learning languages through the internet is a very good idea, but you can also learn other things such as Japanese sweets, yoga, crafts, or you can even take more serious classes of university studies online, such as a Master's degree, for example. It is never too late to start learning something new! So come on everyone. Let's make the best of this time at home.
