Wu Junrong: A Chinese hot spring
新年休假我帯着儿子回老家（福建省）漳州市度假。同学一定要帯我去泡温泉，说是得让中日温泉PK一下。盛情难却，我选了她推荐的位于厦门市海沧区的日月谷温泉。
For the New Year’s holiday, I went back to my hometown, Zhangzhou City in Fujian Province, with my son. A school friend persuaded us to go to a hot spring, because she wanted to compare Japanese hot springs with Chinese ones. It was difficult to turn down her warm-hearted offer. I chose one called Riyuegu Hot Springs, recommended by my friend, which is located at Haicang Ward in Xiamen City.
虽然早就听说中国的温泉很大很豪华，但是一进日月谷温泉，我还是非常诧异它的大，后来查看相关的资料得知我们去的其实只是日月谷温泉度假村的主题公园部分，它还有温泉酒店和温泉私人会所两个部分，整体占地面积约26万平方米。单单这个温泉主题公园就有65000平方米，里头有百来个露天温泉泡池、桑拿室、岩盘浴、餐厅……。而我们花了半天泡的几个温泉只是其中的一小部分！

I read some information about it and found out that the place where I went was part of a hot spring resort and it has two more different sections: a hotel and a private club. The total land surface is 260,000 square meters. The hot spring I visited this time was 65,000 square meters and had many open-air baths, sauna baths, bedrock baths and restaurants. So we spent half a day soaking in some of the baths, which was just a small part of the giant resort.

time at the baths. Afterwards, he commented that in China the men and women
wore swimsuits and took a bath together. He said that it’s quite different
from a Japanese onsen, and Japanese people would say this place is a big
park with various sizes of swimming pools, rather than a hot spring.
