Dan: virtual reality technology
Recently, I've become really
interested in virtual reality
technology. To be honest, I’m not really
into tech gadgets or computers but, I find VR technology
really intriguing. Imagine wearing glasses that will make you FEEL like you
are somewhere else, because the unit tracks
your head movement. As someone who likes travelling but can't find the time to
do so, the potential seems limitless.
Imagine walking around Paris right
in your living room, and then changing the program to another city: Berlin,
Rome, New York. All in an
instant. Or what about places that are
simply impossible to go? Would you like to see what the view is like from the
top of Everest? Or deep below the sea? Space, even?
Do you
like watching concerts and live events? Well, you could buy a virtual ticket to
a concert and get really close to that favorite singer of yours.
So, how about you? What do you
think of this technology as a way of giving us new experiences in a much more
convenient package? Where do you want to go? What experience would you like to
have, virtually? Which celebrity would like to hang out with,
virtually?
