John - Stop smoking
I quit smoking in 2013.
It's been a breath of fresh air, and easier than I expected, thanks
to some good Japanese medicine. I currently have no cravings for cigarettes at
all, and am saving lots of money. My wife is very happy, I have more
energy, and things smell better.
I probably spent around ¥180,000
on smoking last year, plus all the extra snacks you pick up when you go into
a convenience store for cigarettes. Especially Nikuman. I love Nikuman! They
are hot, filling and perfect when coming home late.
However, there is one problem.
I am always extremely HUNGRY! I've turned into a hungry monster and have put a
couple of kilos on in the space of three weeks. Aaarrrgh! My stomach now bounces, an embarrassing movement,
and my old clothes now feel tight. I think it's time to go to the gym!
Since my sense of smell
has improved, I have been enjoying trips around Japan with my wife. We
celebrated the New Year by dressing up some kimonos, and going to couple of temples in Shikoku .
P.S. Many thanks to everybody
who wished me
luck !
