The event typically starts with the national anthem and a prayer, reflecting the country’s cultural respect for spirituality. One of the most iconic moments is when graduates collectively move their tassels from one side of their mortarboard to the other, symbolizing their official transition from students to graduates. 

After the formal event, many families and friends gather for hearty meals, photo sessions, and bonding time. It’s common for graduates to have professional photo shoots in their gowns, capturing memories that will last a lifetime. Some students and families may also host or attend parties to commemorate the milestone.
