The Sands of Time

I’ve
always been fascinated with history. Past events and things from times long
past pique my interest more than anything. Antiques, historical events,
historic battles, and ancient places and ruins are things I find absolutely
amazing. I can spend hours just perusing books about the past.

Having
said this, it has become my lifelong dream to travel around the world and visit
ancient ruins, from the Pyramids of Giza in North Africa to the Mayan temples
and pyramids of Central America. It would truly be a dream come true for me.
私はいつも歴史に魅了されています。過去の出来事や、ずっと昔にあったものには、何よりも興味をそそられます。骨董品、歴史的な出来事、歴史的な戦い、古代の場所や遺跡などは、本当に素晴らしいと思います。過去に関する本を読むだけで、何時間でも過ごせそうです。
そのため、北アフリカのギザのピラミッドや中米のマヤの神殿やピラミッドなど、世界中を旅して古代遺跡を訪ねることが、私の生涯の夢になっています。それは私にとって、本当に夢のような話なのです。
