Soul Food in Life

In this crisis-stricken world, we sometimes forget how to uplift ourselves.

My love of traveling always gives me itchy feet to go to my favorite places. The beach is one of my favorites. In 2018, I was feeling depressed and my friend encouraged me to go on a trip to Dumaguete, specifically Apo island. I can say that just looking at the crystal clear water there made me fall in love with nature and made me genuinely happy.

Now that we can't move as smoothly as before and need to stay indoors to stay safe from the virus, one thing that interests me is cooking. I love cooking different kinds of recipes but mostly simple Filipino dishes. I feel so delighted when other people can appreciate my cooking.

No matter how bad our lives are sometimes, we should remember that the tough times we go through are just temporary. We should enjoy and appreciate life.

この危機的状況の中で、私たちは自分自身を高める方法を忘れてしまうことがあります。

私は旅行が好きなので、いつも好きな場所に行きたくてウズウズしています。ビーチは私のお気に入りのひとつです。2018年、私は落ち込んでいましたが、友人に勧められてドゥマゲテ、特にアポ島への旅行に行きました。そこの透き通った水を見ているだけで、自然が好きになり、純粋に幸せな気持ちになれたと言えます。

以前のようにスムーズに動くことができず、ウイルスから身を守るために屋内にいる必要がある今、私が興味を持っているのは料理です。様々な種類のレシピを作るのが好きですが、主にシンプルなフィリピン料理を作っています。自分が作った料理を他の人が評価してくれると、とても嬉しくなります。

人生がどんなに苦しくても、辛い時期は一時的なものだということを忘れてはいけません。人生を楽しみ、感謝すべきなのです。

Living Independently and Being Happy


Many young adults want to live on their own and be independent. We want to try many things and be responsible for our own actions. In my case, I have been living away from my family for six years. I decided to live independently so that I can learn how to survive in the real world without the aid of others. It's nice to have this kind of  way of life but we can't deny the fact that we feel loneliness sometimes.

 To overcome this loneliness, I've tried many things. One of those is to spend time with friends and colleagues. We sometimes go shopping, swimming or stay in a hotel and enjoy the amenities they can offer. With the sedentary job that I have, I also need to pay extra attention to my health since health is wealth.

 It's really important that you don’t forget your interests and spend time with other people. Health comes first too, so don't compromise yourself by only working. Be happy, have fun and be healthy!

多くの若者は、自分で生活し、自立したいと考えています。いろいろなことに挑戦し、自分の行動に責任を持ちたいのです。私の場合は、6年間、家族と離れて暮らしてきました。自立した生活をしようと決めたのは、他人の助けを借りずに社会で生きていく方法を学ぶためです。しかし、時には孤独を感じることもあります。
この寂しさを克服するために、いろいろなことを試してきました。その一つが、友人や同僚と一緒に過ごすことです。時には、ショッピングや水泳に出かけたり、ホテルに泊まってその設備を楽しんだりしますまた座りっぱなしの仕事をしているので、健康には細心の注意を払っています。「健康は財産」ですからね！
自分の趣味を忘れず、人との時間を大切にすることはとても重要です。
健康が第一ですから、仕事ばかりせず、ハッピーで、楽しく、健康でいましょう！

La Localisation

La localisation est le dernier test, la toute dernière étape de la création d'un jeu vidéo. Le testeur vérifie que la traduction est correcte, que les caractères spéciaux comme les accents sont visibles , que le texte est bien présenté et ne sort pas des cadres désignés à cet effet, ou dans certains cas qu'il ne sorte pas de l'écran !

J'ai eu la chance de travailler sur beaucoup de jeux vidéos japonais, ce qui m'a donné envie d'apprendre la langue japonaise pour pouvoir être meilleure dans mon travail. Cependant, après avoir visité le Japon plusieurs fois, j'ai tellement aimé la culture et le mode de vie japonais que j'ai décidé d'y habiter ! Ce travail en localisation m'a fait prendre conscience de l'importance de l'apprentissage des langues étrangères, et c'est pour cette raison que j'ai décidé de devenir professeur de français.

ローカライズの仕事をしているうちに、外国語を学ぶことの大切さに気づき、

The basic foundation of every relationship is friendship. Whether it’s a relationship with your spouse, children, coworker, or your neighbor.

I love making new friends, spending time with them, and creating good and lasting memories. Most especially I treat them as my family. They are those who make you feel good about yourself, who will laugh at the most embarrassing moment of your life to make you feel lighter. They are the ones who will be there for you during your happiness and at times when you need them the most.

We are aware that there is no such thing as a perfect friendship as well. There will be times when some of your friends will turn their backs on you, and there will be the ones who will be there right by your side no matter what. Either of these might happen, the most important thing is that you give everything you can with pure intentions and not expect anything in return.

 Everybody goes through some difficult phases in life, especially in this time of the pandemic. During this time, we need a shoulder to cry on or someone to lean on. Friends can give exactly that. They will be there and you will realize that you just need something as simple as friendship.
