Tra poco in Giappone si festeggerà l’Obon,
perciò vi vorrei raccontare come si celebrano i defunti in Italia.

La Festa dei morti in Italia è il 2 novembre e
non è una festività nazionale, quindi si va al lavoro normalmente.

Il giorno festivo è il primo novembre, la festa
di Ognissanti, in cui si festeggiano tutti i santi cristiani.

I cristiani praticanti vanno a messa il primo
novembre, ma anche chi non è cattolico va a trovare i parenti deceduti il 2
novembre.

Si portano dei fiori freschi e si puliscono le
tombe in segno di rispetto.

In questo periodo, in Lombardia, c’è anche un
dolce tipico che si chiama “pane dei morti”. E’ un dolce molto buono a base di
cioccolato, frutta candita, frutta secca e spezie come la noce moscata.
